Privacy policy
What data this site collects, why, and for how long. No advertising trackers.
In brief
- No advertising cookies, no audience measurement, no trackers.
- The forms send us your request by email, nothing more.
- Your data is only used to reply to your request and is never sold.
- The site is hosted by Netlify; the forms go through FormSubmit.
Data controller
The data controller is Quentin Delaunay, a sole trader operating under the trade name Elevate, Caen (14000), France, reachable at Elevate.quentin@gmail.com. Elevate has not appointed a data protection officer, as this is not required for its activity; requests are handled directly by the controller.
Data collected and purposes
When you send the “Write to us” form or the guided quote request, we receive by email the information you entered: name, email address and, if you choose, phone number, company, preferred contact method and best time, address of your current website, message, and your answers to the guided quote (business, goal, needs, scope, timing).
This data is used to reply to you, to prepare a detailed quote and a demo mock-up, and, if you become a client, for the business relationship.
Legal basis: pre-contractual steps taken at your request (article 6.1.b of the GDPR). The tick box on the forms confirms that you have read this policy.
Retention period
Three years from our last exchange if no contract is signed; for clients, the length of the business relationship, then the statutory retention periods for accounting records (ten years).
Recipients and processors
Elevate only. Form requests are routed through the FormSubmit service (formsubmit.co), which forwards them by email. The emails are received in a Gmail (Google) mailbox. FormSubmit and Google may process data outside the European Union, under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
The site is hosted by Netlify. Like any host, Netlify technically records connection logs (IP address, date, page requested) to keep the service running and secure.
Third-party content
The pages of the Elevate site host their own fonts, images and scripts: no external resources, no advertising trackers. The demo sites reachable from our work, however, may load libraries and fonts from public services (jsDelivr, cdnjs, unpkg, Google Fonts); as with any web page, those services then technically receive your IP address. Two demos are hosted separately on Netlify.
Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the amended French Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978, you may access, correct or erase your data, restrict its processing, object to it, ask for portability and set instructions for what happens to it after your death, by writing to Elevate.quentin@gmail.com. We reply within one month; if there is reasonable doubt about your identity, we may ask for proof.
If, after contacting us, you believe your rights are not being respected, you may lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority, 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07, France (cnil.fr).
Security
The site is served over HTTPS only. Requests received are kept in a mailbox protected by two-factor authentication, which only Elevate can access. No data is stored on the site itself.
Minors
Elevate’s services are intended for businesses and adult project owners. The site does not knowingly collect data about children under 15.
Changes
This policy may change, for instance if a new service is added or the regulations evolve. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page.
